Intended Use
This reagent kit is used to detect hot spot mutations of the KRAS/BRAF/NRAS gene in cancer tissues of colorectal cancer patients,
Qualitative detection of hot spot mutation sites in the exons of the KRAS/BRAF/NRAS gene.
Product advantages
The National Cancer Comprehensive Treatment Alliance (NCCN) Clinical Practice Guidelines for Colorectal Cancer clearly state:
All patients with metastatic colorectal cancer should be tested for KRAS gene status;
Only KRAS wild-type patients are recommended to receive treatment with EGFR inhibitors such as Albitol and Panizumab.
The "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Colorectal Cancer (2010 Edition)" issued by the Ministry of Health also clearly states that when determining recurrent or metastatic colorectal cancer, the KRAS gene status of the tumor tissue should be tested to determine the appropriate treatment plan.
